Here's a quick "sollution" although there's not really a problem with that station is there?
But if you want the trains to move faster into and outo the station well this might help you...

Edit: don't mind the signals because it's a quick setup where I didn't take enough time to sort out the signals

Another problem is that with default TTD (or TTDpatch), that 'junction' won't work correctly, as there are more than 7 junction tiles on some paths between the signals and the station.
I doubt this issue really affects OpenTTD though...

Also RoRo (Roll On, Roll Off) stations tend to be the most efficient station design in my experience with TTD(patch).

Yes it's an Ro-Ro station layout, it's like Lakie sais it's allmost the most efficient station layout
when having this size of station... I'll work out an other sollution tomorrow and I'll post it so you can see
an other "sollution" I'll try and make a station like yours that is not a ro-ro station
and yet there will be (if I'm thinking wright) no jams what so ever...

Maybe for this solution it's better to use ttdpatch because of the presginal path(do;nt know the name)

((maybe i drunk too much beer:P))

Presignals are in both OpenTTD and TTDpatch as far as I know.
TTDpatch does however have pbs which allows for multiple trains to use the junction at the same time, depending on what is currently on / planned to go through the junction...

Here's an other "sollution" it looks a bit over scaled if you ask me but it does the job I've tested it with high speed
passengertrains from the US trainset. As for the signals well if I'm not mistaken it's like lakie sais they are in TTD, OTTD and in TTDpatch so give it a shot, or let your imagination go wild and try and experiment to create a propper "sollution" to your problem. Will leave this up to you know Cya
