Do you agree that 3 farms in the same region should look differentlyanaconda wrote:I like the Western Star truck

But anyway, it's a bit boring when all the special buildings look the same...
Well, back to work, lot's of it in the near future

he's forgotten us at the Transport Empire sub-forum....spaceman-spiff wrote:It's the first time I've joined a forum where we can mold (help create) a new game
Transport Empire, anyone? From what I've seen already, this will be the successor to TT
Again, Transport Empire has no limitations, other than the most basic of things.and with all our TT experience, we can try and wipe out restrictions

No, I haven't, but that's in a very early stageLilman424 wrote:he's forgotten us at the Transport Empire sub-forum....spaceman-spiff wrote:It's the first time I've joined a forum where we can mold (help create) a new game
No, I haven't forgotten about that gameLilman424 wrote:Transport Empire, anyone?spaceman-spiff wrote:From what I've seen already, this will be the successor to TT
How do you know ? This TG is just another TT like game, so it gets its place hereLilman424 wrote:Again, Transport Empire has no limitations, other than the most basic of things.spaceman-spiff wrote:and with all our TT experience, we can try and wipe out restrictions
I don't see why you try to put this game down, I will play both of them if they get finished

I ahve nothing against the game, I don't see how I'm putting it down. Anyway, as TE will be open-source, even if it had limitations, people would probably soon take them out

I will suprise you .... there will be bridges ... and tunnelsrein wrote:not bad...really...not bad
but there's one but: the flat terrain :/ just like in IG and IG2 - hard limitations of the engine, and there's no point to be under illusion of changing it
but those pre-rendered sprites look really great
so now we have a clear view of how TE ought to look like
what are you looking at? it's a signature!

huh? there's a clear note that game bases on IG2 engine which does NOT support any slopes nor bumps.SHADOW-XIII wrote:I will suprise you .... there will be bridges ... and tunnelsrein wrote:not bad...really...not bad

Bridges - i can understand it but tunnels? maybe tunnels through the cliffs, which are still flat parts.
anyway, there wont be any slides on the ground - e.g. because of vehicles sprites, which cannot contain all possible degrees to run smoothly up and down-hill. (or the game would use 2048ram and 10gb disk space )

You'll send me ??? what do you mean know ?
Don't bother, I found a post :

It won't be a 3D terrain, but the bridges and tunnels will be on one level
I can imagine them putting sprite mountians that you have to dig through by using a tunnel, but that is not a real tunnel then
There won't be real bridges neither, everything will be on one level
Or as Rein said:
