What had happend to the advanced vehicles list?

One of the most usefull features recently I were the advaced vehicles list.
But sadly I found its no longer there since nightly 11050 (or something around that number).

What had happend to it? Is it discontinued or will it come back again?

I have recently downloaded both a nightly (Don't know which version) and the 0.5.3 update, but can't remember which one I installed.

I went through the patch configuration tabs last night for another reason, but didn't see any switches I hadn't already played with.

you're misunderstanding something - trunk means not 0.5.3 but the newest version. A nightly build is made from trunk every night.

To answer your question, the feature is not in the latest stable (=0.5.3; that's the word you were looking for i think), only in trunk/nightlies.

why don't you install it to a different folder and copy your savegames over?

i'm not sure, but i guess you will be able to load saves from 0.5.3 with the nightly, but not the other way around
