I even went as far as to ask TomSka on his patreon discord and got his permission. We haven't got around to actually doing the tattoos yet, mostly because I'm a coward and the pain idea of it all is not good in my head lol.
On a scale of 1-10, I'd say the pain averaged around 4 but peaked at maybe 6 at times. Especially near the end when the artist went back and filled in some lines, tattooing over already tattooed skin.

All in all, it's really not too bad. I didn't get a "rush" like some people report, but the pain was definitely manageable. Just make sure you tattoo it on a part of your body where the skin is thicker, and the bone is not too close. Tattoos on your shoulder, behind the ears, and so on hurt more. Arms are generally a less painful region.

Well that's a relief, the plan was to have it done on the upper arm of both of us, so if we ever got together, we have the sheep looking at each other (which sounds really sad when i type it down). For me i have barely any muscle, so hopefully that makes it less painful too, not stabbing just above the top of a muscle or anything.

I might take a large dose of the prescribed medication I use for pain management of my Multiple Sclerosis, and hope that helps before the tatooing begins >.<

I'd recommend not taking pain medication, since it may cause more heavy bleeding. Not only is that uncomfortable on its own, but it could also make the tattoo session more difficult for the artist.

Or you can be a sensible and sensitive person, and simply get a small tattoo in a "kind" location and see if it's something for you!

Once you pop, you can't stop. You'll have two anyway in a year or two.

The older i get, the more acutely aware of like any pain or concern in any part of my body and just immediately assume "it is time, my unhealthy diet has finally killed me".
and then I immediately sink my teeth into a fat chocolate bar anyway

They say to enjoy life so if eating a chocolate bar is enjoyable then enjoy it. I think you be like me .. definitely will not enjoy a diet. There is always exercise by walking to replace the diet.

I'm so sad i'm not quite old enough to have gone to one of the really retro LAN parties like this. I bet it was a huge heap of laughs, although clearly very warm from the CRTs & computers it seems!

You can go to LAN parties like this though. Dreamhack is, I think, one of the largest LAN parties in the world. They've had over 20,000 computers connected for the biggest events, arranged in football arenas or convention centres here in Sweden.

I have an American friend visiting, and they want to get one of every British currencycoin, because when all joined up, they form the coat of arms of the UK and are 'much cooler' than American coins. As it turns out, quickly finding 1 of each coin that isn't in a really bad ciruclated condition is hard. Might have to go to the bank and explain it and beg them for very specific things!

You should try to get one of every UK banknote - though that would be rather expensive as you’d need at least 5 £100 notes! (I’m not sure how many of the Northern Irish banks still issue £100 notes, the suggestion seems to be that some of them may have stopped.)

I still have a small collection of RBS £1 notes in a box upstairs - I could go out and spend them but they seem to be impossible to get hold of these days!

15 years today since the first TT-Forums meet in Birmingham! How time flies. :)

I guess ideally we should have had a 15-year anniversary meet, but ah well…

Never too late .. can always celebrate 15 + 1 year.

Members have a lot to thank you and those involved with coding OpenTTD and all the coders who added add-0ns to it it created a large range of audience now. With the sand-box mode (Ctrl + Alt + C) and start with 20 million or more young kids can enjoy it with out worrying about running out of money.

I introduced a 10 year old artistic boy to it a few weeks ago and he loves it and with 20 million or more start he can play and build things for hours.

Cheers pal

Status Update: London's Burning.
Also, the Trains are Burning.

Can I please get an airdrop out of here?

Stockholm isn't burning yet, but we're likely hitting 35 degrees tomorrow which is pretty hot too. Not 40.2 degrees hot, but hot nonetheless.

Of course nothing will change though, we've already lost the battle on climate change and nobody in power actually cares. :)

I had a Accident! I spilled milk on my Windows 7 32 bit Computer! My Daughter tried to clean it Yesterday, but it still refused to Boot! Now I'm using a Windows Vista 32 bit computer! The last version of OpenTTD was 9 something! Last I downloaded the current version and installed that! :D
