OpenTTD is so cool and I love playing with it on the internet...but I've downloaded 0.5.1 RC2 and I can't join servers with 0.5.0 because of "version mismatch". I know it would be the best way to reinstall 0.5.0. However, whenever I try, it says: "You have a newer version of OTTD" then it quits.

So, are there any ways to join servers with older versions or it will work in 0.5.1?

Maybe You should try it with 0.4.8 version(maybe servers work on 0.4.8 )! Of course if You have it?
You can see what version server requires to play in it! Its is in that blue window left side!

Try installing 0.5.0 in a different directory to RC1. Usually works.

You must have the exact same version as the server. 0.5.0 and 0.5.1 RC2 are not the same version.

If you're using 0.5.0, you must join games hosted by servers running 0.5.0. If you're using 0.5.1 RC 2, you must join games hosted by servers running 0.5.1 RC2

5.1.0 eh? Yes that would be cool. Only if I have a time machine to leap approximatly 10 years in the future.
