[OTTD] Ben_Ks general mixed screenshots

Post by Ben_K »

I thought Id add some pics from my latest game. Ive got some fairly high yield towns and indutries going on and I'll get some goods pics posted once they look respectable enough! ;-)

Any thoughts or improvements?

Nice harbour :) Your station hall looks a bit unrealistic, but that's only my point of view

I was just having a play with the new stations and I saw someone had tried that idea ;)
With it being modern compared to the harbour, it reminded me somewhat of the Eurostar terminals etc.

Out of interest, can anyone tell me how to get the pics to show rather than say 'download'? Ive searched but cant find anything?! :?

Read the above sticked topic in this forum about the rules for screenshots. If your shot is not greater than 800x600 it will be shown inline 8)

Frentfingpool Bridge - It was a small town with just a factory on the outskirts. Since the factory became a hub its population has boomed and due to the number of passengers available around the factory it seemed rude not to build what is now a pretty central intercontinental airport!

I use XnView (http://www.xnview.de) to prepare my screenies for upload. It has a nice area selection tool and you can see the size of the current selected area in the statusbar. Then if you have selected your desired area there is an option in the context menu 'cut to size' or you use Ctrl+Y. Finally you choose Save As... und voila you have your shots... :)

Less than 20years later and the growth has been staggering! Frubourne has a very modern looking orbital rail system round the town to supplement the bus service.

I wonder why the UKR surfacing override for Pikka's viaduct hasn't worked...

Try making sure the bridge is before the roadset in your GRF setup, and it should work then. (Unless the current effect is desired)
