Adding music to TTD

Post by stupidestfool »

Hey guys, I wasn't sure where to post this one so apologies if it's a little off-topic. I have a few '.mid' midi files I wanted to add to the transport tycoon jukebox for when I'm playing. I tried changing the file name so that they would play first and second respectively, however this is not working. Do I need to convert them to filetype '.gm' and, if so, does anybody know how I could do this?

.gm is just a renamed .midi file. if you rename the midi file to be a properly named .gm file, it should work fine.

Yeah thats what I thought, but it hasn't worked. I've renamed them '.gm' but I think they are still saved as '.mid'. Is there any way to change the actual file entension itself?

You'll have to: Tools > Folder settings > Show > Uncheck the "hide extensions"
