Ameecher's NewGRFs: LATEST RELEASE: Brick Foundations II
Moderator: Graphics Moderators
Thanks Aegir, I have already changed that however and when I can find the time I will code it and release it, in the meantime that is what people will have to put up with!
Edit: Just a thought. What would people think, if I drew on the back of the depot a set of closed doors, creating the impression that the depot has track the whole way through. Thoughts please

Well here are the new versions. I have changed a couple of things. Firstly: Edge definition is now a lot better also. Both versions have a small company colour addition, and version 2.1 is the same as version 2.0 apart from the fact that on the rear view of the depot, what is a grey wall in 2.0 now has a "closed" door. This doesn't allow trains through, just looks pretty.
Edit: I will add these later on.... Got a lot of other stuff to do first

Well at long last I present the GRFs. version 2.1 has the false doors on the rear, version 2.0 doesn't up to you to do decide, due to a mistake on my part, and I am working to fix it at the moment, only one can be put in the newgrf.cfg otherwise there will be a conflict and neither will work.
Both files are Windows only, I will convert them to DOS later, unless someone wants to do that and send them to me.
ENJOY!

I think, yellow doors, and lines should be a bit darker, as depot is dark, they contrast a lot.

Nice. If it were in a lighter grey, it would remind me of the Sheffield Tram depo! Shame it isnt!
Ah forget it. I'll come back now.

It may be nice to add to British Tram Set, if you could do the sheffield oneAmeecher wrote:I've not seen the supertram depot but you saying that has made me wonder whether I should draw some new depots for Trams, I like the one that is currently in the nightlies but perhaps a change is called for? Opinions please.

Right then, At Captain Kirk's request for the British Tram Set I have done some quick sprites. Firstly edited the depot so that it can be used for trams. this however went wrong when I realised I was editing the wrong version but I will post it anyway and the tram stops. Currently I have only draw one view of the tram stop properly, the other is just a mirror image. Very much a WIP
PS: Kirk you can't stop moaning about my PC being crap now
EDIT: The tram stops are pending permission from Pikkabird and Steven_h as they have been extracted from TTDPase.

Could you draw a foundation for the steep slope for us OTTD people?Ameecher wrote:Right permission now granted
Now then, onto another little project that I have a sideline: New build on slopes stuff:

That's constructed out of normal foundation pieces.XeryusTC wrote:Could you draw a foundation for the steep slope for us OTTD people?Ameecher wrote:Right permission now granted

What Ameecher is missing, is that the foundations in trg1r.grf are not the only ones that need to be adjusted, you also need to decode ttdpbasew(Or whatever it's called) and get the proper buildonslopes graphics out.
For things like steep slopes support (Under TTDPatch and OpenTTD) you need to make sure that the foundation pieces graphics tile verticly.
