You know what i never noticed that, to much looking for graphical errors. Rather than how the whole thing in general looks.

Yes, there does seem to be an excessive amount of red containers on the non-track tiles. The container platforms look ok though. Maybe we can persuade Sanchimaru to reduce the red ones a bit for a future release. ;)

Is it based on random or pre-set textures the different colour containers. And by the way go to my screenshot thread to see some more V0.7.0 screens.

The colours are pre-set in 4 variations, which are chosen randomly. These are the sprites:

I just did, they’re looking great. :D But I still think you could use a few more trains to transport some of that waiting cargo. ;)

I see they just need editing to have less red containers in (for the future).

And i purposly let the station fill to make good full colourful screenies.

Your screenshots made me think of a nice addition to ISR.

Pipelines.

I do like the pipelines idea. Something a bit different.

What do you mean by fake crossroad as you can see there are crossroads in this image.

I think mart3p is better answering that question, the new v0.7.0 doesn't have them but ask mart3p maybe they will put it in a future release :)

Also i have a new screenshot i'll put it on tomorrow.

I doubt it is but is it possible to prevent those 3 cranes being on top of each other because that is ugly.

Well it was just a quick screenshot i put together, i don't really do that. They are all on seperate tracks so you can, not put them together if you want.

That’s ok, it saves me from answering them all. ;)

Sorry no, it is not currently possible to build the container cranes over tracks. They are animated though. :D

You can of course build them with a plain platform inbetween. But you're right, it wouldn’t be easy for the GRF to enforce this.

Industrial Stations Renewal has not specified any licensing requirements up until now, I thought it was time to put that right.

The old industrial stations set was licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 (or later). As ISR is partly based on this set, by the terms of the licence, ISR should also be under GPL.

Would recent contributors to ISR please let me know, if they have any problem with their work being released under GPL version 2.

Seeing this huge intermodal station, and having seen the heavy equipment set before, I just thought of the following:

Wouldn't there be a possibility to have some industry / station acting like a storage area, where you can transport all the cargo coming to a station, pile it up, and then redistribute it later, without any max stockpile or expiry on the goods ? That, coupled with some forklifts or container transport trucks like you see is harbors would be great eye candy !

Frank

Do you know about transfer orders were you can make the trains transfer goods to a station, as an example would be: I have an harbour, were oil tankers (on transfer orders) bring oil to the harbour which is connected to a train station, this is were the trains take the oil to an oil refinery inland.

Anyway as promised here is another screenshot, this one a bit more simple but i like it. enjoy :D
