Let's get down to business!

Post by Lilman424 »

C'mon, time for a motivation speech.

[motivate]
If I could program for this thing, (and, God, I wish I could!) I would have at least tried to get a decision for whether or not we should make our engine. (I think we should) You people you can program, or draw, orhave an annoying amount of amazing ideas in your head, waiting to burst out, you guys need to do something about this! Figure out what's going to happen about the engine, the basic graphics, like tiles and hills, hurry up and figure out that we need triangular tiles and a 3D fixed camera isometric view!! Stop arguing about music, seasonal changes, and in depth day/night transitional graphics, and argue about who's going to do the programming!!!
[/motivate]

sure, right now i'm on rebuilding stage of my past engine, deleting unnecessary things and converting it to support OpenGL.
We can only wait until the code will be released...than i hope you will take part in developing it :D cos my free time is getting shorter day by day... :(
There's some work at the start so be patient please

The fact that you are busy with it is itself very encouraging.

I already have Borland Delphi 6 (my brother needed it for his study), can you program C++ with that?
Does anyone know a good site with a tutorial then?

No you can't compile C++ code with Delphi. You'll need a C++ compiler for that.

Options are:
- MS Visual C (Visual Studio)
- Borland C Builder
- GCC for Win32

All art and vehicle stats I authored for TT and derivatives are as of now PUBLIC DOMAIN! Use as you see fit
Just say NO to the TT fan-art sprite licensing madness. Public domain your art as well.
