If one type of transport was to be done for the game, so people could test the logictics and the graphics and so on, what should it be?

I say trains to, because if this will be anything like ttd, trains will be the "best/most common/main" method of transport.

Trains first, then trucks, then ships and only then airplanes.

But buses companies should have the same chance to earning money as the others (like train company, or ship company, or airplane company)

Well, with the extensible vehicle system, it would be possible to create more 'fair' numbers of each type of vehicle. We shouldn't really favour one set of vehicles over another (although trains may well be better than others or may have better features, for instance).

Trains. People know trains more than everything else.

I astrongly agree. I also agree with Shadow, he makes a valid point about making all the veichles have an equal chance, but we have to remeber that they will all have something better than the other types:

Buses: Great inside crowded city, or to make a city grow on a limited budget.

Trucks: Great for getting goods from that station on the outskirts in to the city centre. Also great for really short routes.

Trains: Well, don't get me started on how good trains are

Planes: Fast and don't get bogged down by signals and hills.

Buses, Trucks: high profit on small range, very low running cost ....

And one other suggestion directly from SC4:
- you must pay for your rails and roads ...
- speed of vehicles depends also on quality of raod/railtrack
- added highways, road vehicles can get speed even 150% more but it costs a lot)
