Request of files

Hya all

I'm making a request which won't probably be a problem to all of you
I was wondering if you could get me all the files that are needed to play TTD with the new graphics and all, 'cause I do have the TTDPatch file, and the new graphics too, but when I enter the game with the configuration of the new graphics file, a message appears saying "win2k.file not found" or something like that

If you could lend me a zip file with all of them and without any saved games or scenarios I would really apreciate

If you can't help me, there's no problem. I'll just try to search for some tutorials

Then just remove the line specifying the the file win2k from your newgrf[w].cfg.

That sounds a lot like he was missing TTD itself (gamegfx.exe).

TTD Patch is a 'addon' to TTD, you need to install TTD, and then use the Patch on top of that. You can try the link in my sig, or the downloads section in the General TT forums. Just get (windows XP?) TTD-windows.

Excuse me for my double posting, but I thought that it would not be apropriate to start a new topico, just to make a new request.

I've tried the link in SpComb's signature, and I did enjoy the new graphics and all, but TTD jus didn't feel the same.

I was wondering if there is any chance that I can play TTD with the old graphics and all the stuff that made TTD a great game bt in Windows XP. I've tried TTDPatch, but it didn't work very well

If someone could help I would apreciate it

its hight and filesize that are the problem. Change the filetype to png as its smaller.

The problem with my TTDPatch file was the one I mentioned before in this topic. It appeared a "Windows 2k.*** file not found" or something like that.

I was wondering, if I still use SpComb's files but not loading the new graphics file, I suppose that will work, right?

you will find a file called newgrf.cfg wherever you installed TTD in.

If you open it, you can put a # in front of every newgrf you don't want to use (perhaps on all of them). Alternatively, use the new graphics window in-game.
