How to play!!!

Hello!

I am writing to you from croatia; so i am sory for my english!!!

Somebody tell me please how I can play Transport tycoon (original, not deluxe) on my computer. I have Windows XP.

Till now I have download the game but I can not play it. When I start the game for few second it blows me away; I was kick out from the game.

Please help!?!?

P.S. I have installed DosBox but I do not know what I must do!?!?

He said TTO, not TTD. TTDPatch won't help with TTO.

To get TTO running on XP, you need Dosbox, or some other DOS emulator, or Vmware.

Yes, XeryusTC, I've seen you write rather impulsively before, it's a good idea to take a good look where you're writing and to what you are replying.

If you don't know how to use dosbox then you really just need to follow SpComb's (and indirectly XeryusTC's) advise or really just read the manual again, because it really is not that hard (unless you are completely unexperienced with DOS(-like) commands)

domypodli, I also miss TT, but there is a "TT original" grf for OpenTTD/TTDPatch so you can feel the same theme again

There is no start in 1930; there are no original names...

No not 1930. You can set start year 1920!

You have a copy of TTDPatch that accepts "startyear 1920" but not "startyear 1930"?
That's a very strange copy of TTDPatch you've got there. Please release the diff so the rest of us can start in 1920 too.

one mistake it was 1921

TTDxc: default startyear=1921 See your self. here is the cfg and pic and it works!

As I always know that 1921 was the lowest startyear!
1921 is on little problem many sets dont have that time locos or cars.

I said nothing about releasing a binary. No binary means no special requirements concerning the source.

I admit; I am stupid to do something right.

I went to the page and have downloaded TTD patch with original names and erlier star... but I can not install this. It says "unknown file type" and i cant change it!!!

I just want to play it right...

Which file?

If it's vehicle.dat, just put it in your TTD folder and it's installed.

The file is opening in media player and I can not change it;!
