Problem with fullscreen on 2k HELP!!

I got the game to work on 2k in full screen yesterday then shutoff computer and next day the damn things wasnt working in full screen !!! Whats up ?

1) have TTD for Win
2) have TTDPatch (with enabled 'win2k')
3) set compatibility mode of Gamegfx.exe to Win95 (in prosperites)
4) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\FISH technology Group\Transport Tycoon Deluxe .... set fullscreen to '1' (zero, null)
5) now should work

The deal is the .exe file isn't working (asking for cd) even tho I HAD IT WORKING !Yesterday. This confuses me .. the game still wroks tho in window mode and it seems like it's going to full screen but then it jumps back to small ... wierd

It tells you, you havn't CD because you:
1) run GameGFX.exe not ttdpatchw.exe
2) PROBABLY 'win2k' in *.cfg is OFF (or 0) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3) game is not installed (there's no entry in registry)
4) try to delete ttdpatch.ovl and then run TTDPatch again

point 2 is the most probably

I knew but I wanted to ask him again because he hadn't answered it.
"No everything is fine" is not really satisfying, because appearently noteverything is fine, otherwise he would be able to run the game.

This should not be necessary really, but do you think there would be any use in creating an image file of a TTD CD-ROM and mounting it as a virtual CD drive letter using something like Nero Imagedrive?

It is just an idea, and I've not tried it.

Those Images will be small .. very small so you can make a Vritual-CD but .. for what if TTD can run without it ....

I know it should not really be necessary, but it was just an idea as a workaround, if that makes sense!

Well I'm not to sure about you shadow but this is the way I did it.

1. GO to your ttdx folder, right-click on ttdpatchw.exe and "send to desktop" (create's a shortcut).
2. Right-click on teh shortcut and go to properties. Under the options tab selcect "Full screen" (under the "Display options").
3. Just put that shortcut in teh start menu and run from there from now on.
