The thing that annoys me most is the people who have left their rubbish on the floor when there are clearly 2 perfectly good recycling bins a few feet away! Slobs!!

Late to the party as usual but after going through Geo Ghost's picture I could not resist the following:
Could this be The Doctor's evil twin and his manservant Mr. Torq?
Florence Nightingale, ready to cauterize wounds with her twin light sabers?

Re: Photo of yourself??
Been a while since anyone posted a picture of themselves it seems! Had a quick search, and couldn't find a similar thread. Let's reboot the thread, and see how much we've all changed since our last image
This is myself a few week ago, if anyone passes Huddersfield and notices the garden / pots, you can think of me. As I help plant and tend to them

Re: Photo of yourself??
Crikey this is an old thread indeed.
I ended up taking off most of the photos of me. Partly because there was some I didn't want on the net any more, and others were dead links.
Guess a lot of us find one another on facebook these days.
Did have a couple of neat photos when I was in my old First uniform. Looking like I was actually doing something

Unlike me, who lets be honest, looks like I saw a random baby conifer plant and went "no passengers around and train behind me is empty, #selfietime!". Unfortunately, if I am actually doing any work, its not feasible to take pictures, either talking about timetables, tickets, or walking the platforms helping someone find a train or platform. Don't think they'd appreciate a little picture I've applied for two jobs lately with the new Northern franchise though, so hopefully i'll get a nice sexy uniform should i get either of them.Geo Ghost wrote:Looking like I was actually doing something
It seems a lot of old links on this thread are dead, which a shame but completely understandable really. Maybe we can rebuild it and get to see each other again!

The volunteering crew don't volunteer over weekends, neither the gardeners or the info desk ones. I have on occasion gone in though when a serious case of weeding was needed and i had literally nothing else to be doing with my weekend, or there is a special event on in town, which thankfully is rare. I'm easy to spot, tall guy in a high vis toddling around, if its cold I have Northern branded beanie hat on.Pilot wrote:Passed today and I did think of you, hope you weren't actually there today though!Redirect Left wrote:if anyone passes Huddersfield and notices the garden / pots, you can think of me.
Seems we TT-F folk are fairly camera shy, no one else posting yet!
Re: Photo of yourself??
I imagine that you weren't there for 1E80 stopping at 0745 on Friday either? Or if you were, you would have been at the Info Desk, due to it being a busy period.Redirect Left wrote:The volunteering crew don't volunteer over weekends, neither the gardeners or the info desk ones.Pilot wrote:Passed today and I did think of you, hope you weren't actually there today though!Redirect Left wrote:if anyone passes Huddersfield and notices the garden / pots, you can think of me.
Anyway, a picture of me.

Well then, welcome to the forums! I'm sure this won't change our opinions of you at all Takes a lot of courage to make a post like that on such a large forum, well done.Pilot wrote: So yes, that's me, and I hope that you will all accept me still, and please think of this as my re-introduction to the forums.
Indeed. I was there on Friday, but 10:00 -> 12:30 as I do most fridays lately. I do occasionally go in a bit earlier or stay later, depending on expectations. Safe to say, 99% of the time not 0745 early thoughPilot wrote:I imagine that you weren't there for 1E80 stopping at 0745 on Friday either? Thank you so much I'm using things like this a stepping stone towards telling my family. I'm a lot more comfortable around the people here, than I am my own family sometimes.Redirect Left wrote:Well then, welcome to the forums! I don't quite intend to be there that early for a while, I had a meeting with Network Rail in York, so it was kinda necessary to be on that Train It was a lovely 5am start that day too, but I was in Bed for 9pm that night.Redirect Left wrote:Indeed.
