Thank you
The various AuzObjects by GarryG feature such things.

I'm not sure what exactly you want? Rails and railway vehicles that are actually just eyecandy objects?
yes

Two questions:

a) Is there any mod which sets all colors of the industries to the company colors? It would be much easier than to "expand" the industries with style objects.
b) Is there any mod with stuff like goods (coal piles, ore piles etc.) which are laying on dirt and not on concrete.

The "problem" behind these questions is that I would like to build a nice-looking large coke oven that fits to the length of my stations.

Industrial Stations Renewal (ISR) available on Bananas has a good compliment of mineral piles with the advantage that they are station tiles, they are active (grow and fall with use), and are available with tracks or no tracks as well as a variety of accessory tiles.

There was a newgrf that replaced the black area outside map with water. Does it still exist? Not sure I was able to get it to work back in the day.

EDIT: Found it, but it won't work: viewtopic.php?t=35105. Maybe because I use OpenGFX Landscape.

It doesn't work at all ... I tried it separatly and it's the same. Maybe it's caused by new versions of openttd ...

In the end of this topic kamnet and an author chat about it ... it doesn't work in new versions ;)

Looks like a screenshot made by me ages ago.

I am not sure about the trackset, possibly NU-tracks.
But it is in combination with Qatenary:

it's on BaNaNas

it is very similar to my national traction, but I do not understand whether this is a new grf addition in the form that it is a new type of railway track or just additional checkpoints, because I have this newgrf quite long but I do not use it, is it some newer version of it add-on?

I mean exactly how to get the effect as in the picture where the traction poles are on both sides

You need to use the included Waypoints

well, it's a pity, I thought it was a new type of qatenary, it would be nice if two or more tracks were connected to one traction platform, as it is in Europe

Well, for your information, I am (very slowly) working on a trackset that adds fake tracks inbetween the actual tracks (so that big empty space between tracks is filled) and also adds the catenary, so that doesnt have to be added by using waypoints.

But progress is very slow, due to some issues I need to fix and also because of reallife taking up more time ;-)

So, may take a couple of years...

It looks great, just remember that the single line is with the single pole like it is now, it will more reflect the realism

Hi all,

In the past I've had a bridgeset with a grey flat girderbridge that had no pillars for as long as 20 tiles. That was great if you want to make a bridge over a yard.

Does it ring any bells for anyone?

Thanks in Advance

Looks like U&RaTT using signs instead of arrows for one-way roads, but I might be wrong.

Hi I've been playing openttd for a long time but never tried any different grf and im getting a bit bored of the original world/vehicles/buildings. What im looking for is a collection of grf that people use that make a good combined set so replacement vehicles rd, train, ship, and plane. The world towns and cities, industry's and trees etc. Buildings stations, depots, rails. But sets that would work together and fit style wise if any body has suggestions for good combinations it would be apreciated. Thanks

This is an extremely difficult question to answer, as there is so much stuff around and it all depends on personal taste.
I, for example, have no interest in using anything that is American, Asian or Middle-Eastern (i.e. desert) area themed (I like games looking like Western/Middle-Europe, preferably with some snow).
Or anything that uses the multi-zoom 32bpp graphics (so the really reallife looking stuff), as pretty as that may be and how much I admire the artistic work, I really adore old-school pixel-art
But maybe that is what you are looking for.
Try to sort out for yourself what kind of things you really dont want, I think that is a lot easier to decide.

Maybe also then look at the screenshot section of this Forum and see if there is anything that you really like, then just ask what GRF's they are using.

EDIT:
Added a screenshot of my GRF-list.
Not all can be found on the ingame-downloader or here at the forums (as some is heavily modded by myself), but most should be around ;-)

Its more or less categorised (landscape/vehicles/stations, etc etc) Hope that helps.
