Hi and welcome Memcher

This is the switch
multihead 35
35 is the percentage added speed by the second loc, 0 to 100
Well, back to work, lot's of it in the near future

Is there a limit to how many trains you can add to it? or is it as many as you want?

wrong
the maximum train length is 126 (if mammothtrains are enabled), so that's the maximum

Oh... damn  Heh, it's just the way he phrased it, you know trains and all.... Anyway, There;s really no point in having over 4, because after 4 you don't get any bonuses.

I really don't care about the speed of my trains, they do eventually come out very fast (mag-lev). So I focus on cargo capacity.

But it would be nice to make a wack more money though!!

There's 1 bonus: Horses. The horse increses all the way up to the 127th engine. So with 127 2-8-0 consolidations (the first loco in the extremes. I have an edited vehicle.dat) you'd have 139700 horsepower....BRING IT ON SHEER CLIFF FACES!!

I had me a coal train that was about ~120 carrages long, it had three engines and handeled most hills fairly well - I tried not to have many. On a long, cross map line it got me about $2million dollars per go. I later changed that one to six 50 car trains, they too brought in almost $2 million dollars, but there was SIX this time!!!

Maintainance per year increases per train added also right?
