First of all, thanks for your great work on this project. It's good to see one of my favourite games alive and kicking in a new incarnation .
I've been trying to play openttd with my friends today, but both of them were disconnected frequently, as i saw later because of the lags.
So without any further investigation i've decided to change the default value of 4 game-days after which the client is disconnected . The question is, what was the reason to make it precisely _four_? (I've no idea yet how is the game synchronized between clients, so forgive my silly question).
If it's not such a big issue (and magical 4 days may be changed) i attach a patch adding network_drop_client_after parameter, allowing to change it easily and play with it.
