Hi,
There are no iron ore hoppers in the maglev/monorail build vehicle list, only for rail.
Openttd 0.4.01 or such.

Yes there are. Are you using any graphics sets? What happens if you start a new game and use the cheat window (CTRL+ALT+C) to go to the year 2025? Can you post a saved game here, and/or a screenshot?
