A long time ago, I played volleyball for some years. After my initial service, I haven't done anything serious other than swimming twice a week. I do nothing now though. A bit sloppy maybe is the correct word.

Appart from playing games, I play more games . E.g boardgames etc Just discovered Carcassonne (+expansion) and Settlers of Catan. I have played too much Magic The Gathering during the last years. After 6400 cards, I gave up bying more.

For the rest, the job takes some time, and my friends the rest of my spare time. Movies, music, beer, cars, you name it. Everything is on our "todo" list.

But it's not 'soccer', it's 'football'. The Americans should call their football by the proper name. ;)

What beer do you drink Spiff? You probably drink Jupiler. I hear every person from Belgium talking about Jupiler. I don't think it's that great.
Just give me a nice cold Hertog-Jan!

lets see: Duvel, Leffe, Hoegaarden, Rodenbach, Kriek, Geuze, Palm, Orval, Antiek, Cue de Charrue, Zulte, Westmalle, Kwak, Petrus, Chimay, Rochefort, West-Vleteren, ...
I like all beers, and each beer has it types, kriek from different brewers, Leffe has blond and brown, West-Vleteren has 8-10-12 alc.percent
Then there are so many local brewers, practically every town has one
So there is much to discover in Belgium
Did you know that the best beer of the world is Duvel, and this is my favorit too

hehehe I don't drink beer... Belgians drink beer, we eat cheese and use drugs :) hehehe

hehe but I don't like cheese and I would never want to use drugs...

That PALM commercials are funny :)

'also special when theres nothing to celebrate' :) hehe 'happy new thursday!'... or about the one in a park... you think they are asking each other if they want to mary but they just wanna drink beer :D

Another GREAT thing from belgium: 'Alles kan beter'... :) that's just the most hilarious show on the planet (seems that BBC is interrested in doing an english version too!!) I wish there was a dutch program like that... We do have 'dit was het nieuws' but that's completely different (that's the dutch version of 'have I got news for you <- BBC 1'

and KoPsPiJkErS is fun too :D

enough with the telly :p

Appart from the Rochefort, which untill now, I though was some kind of cheese, I have never heard of any of your beers!

I mainly stick to one kind, but I don't say no, if someone buys a round of Guinness, even though that isn't my favourite.

Here we have Borg, Hansa, Ringnes, Frydenlund, Munkholm, Dahls, Mack, and some more local beers. And of course all the foreign brands.

I guess none of you have heard of our beer. I preffer Danish Carlsberg or Tuborg, if I may choose.

Did you know that a area in Germany calles Beieren is the place where the adults drink the most beer in the world? 240 litres a year per adult!
Did you know that beer has its origins in Tsjecho-Slovakia. In a village called Pilzen. That's why in some countries the word Pils is used.
Did you know you shouldn't drink to much beer? Trust me, I know this one for sure ImageImageImageImageImage

how we got from a hobby-thread to a beer-thread

but i think beer was invented long ago, egyptians had it and also in mesopotamia, some 3000 years ago
off course the taste wasn't like now

i agree the germans drink the most in the world, but have you ever tasted their beer, for us it's p*** that comes from the 'beerput'
i'd rather drink english or dutch beer then

i like the great diversity we have here in belgium, you can taste one every day and it will take you years and years
only michael jackson has tasted them all 8)
Well, back to work, lot's of it in the near future
