Post the translated strings here, but I don't guarantee that they'll actually get used. TTD doesn't make it easy to provide strings in languages other than American, English, French, German, and Spanish.

"Oil-fired Power Plant"
"Coal-fired Power Plant"
"Water Treatment Plant" (current name)
"Water Desalinization Plant" (once everything works correctly)

@Owen: any chance of getting space on users to host the GRFs?
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

If need be, yes. Sort it out between you and Born Acorn and let me know. :)

Since somebody complained about the black hole (ore mine) here is a little more modern one I got from MHz. Since I had to convert it to TTD palette, the roof lost a lot. Anyway, may it inspire an artist.

Well this is a rendered file and then converted. (And made for the german simutrans scenario. But when I found this thread, I though it may fit.)

prissi, doesn't look too bad at all.

On another note, below are 2 packing plants, one with a CC/random stripe, one w/o. Opinions welcomed.

It's wondeful, suprisingly, the "striped" one looks better.

DanMack, great building there! I'm very excited about the newindustries.
Yet knowing this is still in progress work, I'll tell you what I'm missing: slight details. Those everydays stuff that are there, and we don't even realize. For example the SW wall looks too uniform in the lower part, without windows. I reccommend you to run an image search for factories, and industries, to find all those slight detalis that will add spice to the drawing and make it unique. I found this page I hope will be useful. But again, maybe you alredy thought of that, and were waiting until the end to add those.

I another note, I think it would be very handy to have a concrete factory: They look awesome, so "industrial" with all those tubes, mixers, and belts around. And it's an industry I think that can be found in any country, isn't it?
I'd draw them myself, but lately I'm a bit busy at university. But there are a lot of cement factories in the shoreside from Kobe to Osaka, I'd like to take pictures of them and use them as reference

I think the striped one looks good. I like it when you include colored stripes on industries; they add some subtle differences and make it look like different companies own them.

Ok, here some other buildings from MHz (Georg). If you use them, please just add, that these were made for Simutrans (that there is no impression, that simutrans steals from others.)
