If OTTD (r2215, unless I miss my guess[0]) starts windowed, I get a nice long list of distinct, well-sorted resolutions[1], most of which my video card/driver can't handle. If I (in either order) switch to full screen and select a resolution my video card/driver can't handle, OTTD segfaults.
If, instead, OTTD starts in full-screen, only the valid resolutions are available.
I don't really speak Linux, so: what version numbers, if any, do you need?
IIUnderstandC, I'm using KDE as my window manager, and X11R6 as the X server.
[0] That's current for the other nightlies, but latest.tar.gz doesn't really contain much information.
[1] Translation: This bug isn't getting tickled.
Also submitted to Sourceforge.
