Not really a problem, but a subtle bug

When an AI competitor goes out of business and asks if you want to buy the company for $2, you can do that even if your debt is maxxed out. You do NOT inherit the company's debt, but DO you get their assets (e.g. a plane, or a train and some track) which you can immediately sell for a profit.

Either you should be forbidden to buy the company (since your debt is already at max) or your debt should be increased to accommodate the purchased debt.

In a recent game, I bought 3 failed companies for $2 each and sold their planes for a handy profit, even when my debt was at max.

Yes. I agree with you - it seems like a minor bug. If you know C, then you could have a go at fixing it. In the mean time, the devs are busy getting all the major bugs fixed so they can release 0.4 I think. Once that's done, expect a lot of new features to get added to the trunk / nightlies.
