It depends on what type of Turbostar you are modelling, there are two Classes and about 8 Sub-Classes.
Common types:
Power Unit: 1 x MTU 6R 183TD of 400hp (300kW) per car
Horsepower for a 2 Car Unit: 800hp
Horsepower for a 3 Car Unit: 1200hp
Horsepower for a 4 Car Unit: 1600hp

Width: 8ft 10in (2.69m)
Vehicle length: 77ft 6in (23.62m)

My Stats
The Stats I was givern by there site must be incorect but I am no liar.ChrisCF wrote:One of the manufacturer or alaistairgrew is a liar.
Length: 23.6m
Height: 3.77m
Width: 2.7m
Power: 400hp/car
Set length: 2-3 cars
Introduced: 1998
Weight: 45t/car
Speed: 100mph
Which is considerably different from the railbus
Thats fine I agree with this. I am planing to have only the two coach version but if we can add turbo star carredges that would be good.Tigermon wrote:It depends on what type of Turbostar you are modelling, there are two Classes and about 8 Sub-Classes.
