no trains in snow scenery (year 2018)

Post by Henkie »

When playing in the snow scenery, i could not build no more trains in my depot and the year is 2018. I can still build all other kind of transport.
It happend in the nightly build from 19-10-2004. But also tried the savegame in the normal version 0.3.4

The original design of the game makes normal trains obsolete after a certain time. So in the 'future' you can only build monorail or maglev trains. That is how it has always been.

If you don't want that you should've turned on 'vehicles never expire'...I think it's a bit too late for that now that they are gone. Although you could try 'resetengines'...hang on!

Yep :D, hehe I knew when I made that console function it would be in handy :P.
Ok, here's what you do:
1. In the patches window turn on 'vehicles never expire'
2. Open the console; '~' usually.
3. Type in 'resetengines'

Voila, you can make all the engines you want :D. I tested this in 0.3.4 so it should work in the latest nightly too.
