Railroad crossing sound

If you (or a signal) stop a train at a railroad crossing then it stops ringing. Is it a bug?

Propably not. If it is, then that would be one strange bug. But lets be thankful that it doesn't rigng the whole time, because then the game would be abandoned, because of the loud annoying sound of the bell constantly running.

when a train activates a crossing, it plays the crossing sound. It is not infinitive and do not loop, so it always stop after the same amount of time. It have no relationship to lights at all so high speed trains should be able to cross and turn the lights off before the sound stops
