[WIP]New Refiting

Post by TrueSatan »

Hi.
I'm currently working on a new refiting.
you don't even have to have a loco
to refit your wagons. only drag and drop them
to the refit button and refit them to your needs.

new version now works very good :-)
and there it is now you don't get the refit
window if there is nothing to refit.

diff can be found here http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.ph ... tid=636367 :-)
(diff against 1889)

I wondered if that should be the next task that I should take up. I guess it turned out that I should do something different now :D

How do it work? Do you drag the cars into the refit button or?
and what happens if you want some to carry one type of cargo and some for another type? How do you tell them apart?

hi bjarni.
currently the refit works cumulative.
so if you drag the first wagon all wagons that are refitable
with the new good will be refited to the new cargo.
if you drag the last two on the refit button the last two will be refited, a.s.o.
maybe it would be nice if you could chose between refit only this or refit all
refitable wagons at once... or something like that :-)
the nice thing of this patch is that you can take the first wagon drag and drop it on the refit button and also drag the f.e. third last wagon and refit them in separate refit windows. so basicly it does what it should do.
what i don't like is the cumulative refiting right now. the rest is fine imho :-)
