Very nice. Now all we need is some text saying that this is OpenTTD and not some spaceproject ;)

I don't think there is any need for any text, because if you are veiwing the folder with it in you will see it is "openttd.exe", in a menu it will say "OpenTTD". The only place where you won't know what it is, is the taskbar thing - but do you really know what any of those mean anyway?

ya, you are right. I got a bit confused with the icon for the wiki page, which will be a lot bigger :)

Pipian wrote:I do disagree however with the statement that the dollar sign should know be used (on morphium's). The dollar sign (in my opinion, though I am an American, so I may easily be wrong) has lost most of its connotation as American currency if the sign is used stand alone. In America at least, the dollar sign standing alone now stands for "money," and to propose a different currency symbol would lose that powerful modern connotation.
I agree with that - using a pound sign or a Euro sign is more 'specific' than using a dollar sign. Maybe it's just because I watched a load of Warner Bros cartoons when I was little and they all used dollar signs on their money bags, and so on. ;)

PDsiRF, can you make .ico files, or if not transparent background PNG files? I can then iconify them.

I think an other "earth" would be better. That one is so "cold", so you think really it is a space-game. It should be more green... more life... more warm colors

I have to admit that my favorite still is the one with just the two trains going around the earth. I like this blueish gray earth.

I was trying to make transparent background icons from these pictures, but it's not going too well. It would be great if you could also supply the alpha channel with these PNG's so proper icons can be made...if you don't want to do them yourself, of course :)

The different angles for the trucks and trains look off in my opinion.

hm... i thought i included it, maybe its your icon-software? psp messes up .png images with alpha (it saves them ok (i think), but when loading it screws the alpha), but windows preview shows that theyre ok.

i dunno...

you are still going to keep the orginal icons in the ottd.exe too? for those people whodon't like any, because I maglevs and monorails are not the main part of the game, but normal Trains and road vehicles are?
