Hi guys,
I just tried out the latest nightly, but it looks like the Italian translation I posted here a while ago was never implemented. Did you find any problems with the accents, by any chance?

Do you have a link? I can find one from April 6th; I don't think that's the one you refer to...

Thanks! Applied in
r2624.
File looked to be encoded correctly, so I think the accents will work out fine.

Hi,
Having polished off the Welsh translation of OpenTTD, I've barrel-rolled straight onto this one. Please find attached a complete translation of FIRS, based on the latest version of english.lng

Thanks!
You translation is added and will be in the upcoming nightly.
Please check if the accents are ok, as I converted the file to UTF-8. But I think they will be fine.

Your translation is added in r2628 and you can expect it in the upcoming nightly. Thanks!
(Yes, that's the same text as in my previous post. I figured I might just as well copy that instead of coming up with something completely different. Oh wait, now I came up with something different after all...)

Yes, that too.
Still, it felt a bit unpersonal to just copy/paste...

As I was in the neighbourhood...
Your translation is in r2629. You have to wait for tomorrows nightly though, as you've just missed today's compile.

How often do you need a translation update? Not for every nightly, is it?

Whenever there are string changes, basically. That is indeed not always the case.
Keep an eye on the changes of english.lng:
http://dev.openttdcoop.org/projects/fir ... nglish.lng
Besides from that you can check what strings are missing and changed since the last update of your language here:

The site has been down for a while now (
http://tt-foundry.com/sets/FIRS/schema/industries ), does anyone else know of a place where I can find the industry introduction dates?
[edit] Ah, it was still in google cache, so I have the info for now. But the question still stands

Best place to check is in the source, as that is the most up-to-date information. Look in each industry nml file for #define THIS_MIN_YEAR.
