Re: British Rail Set : Current = 5.0
Haven't heard much going on here for a while.....
anyways, I was just browsing the internet (as ya do) and I came across these
http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info. ... leid=30536
http://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info. ... leid=30535
I know that Hayeswood was asking for these models to be made and now that there's a Msts model then would it be perhaps possible? If needs be I can reskin this into the Greater Anglia livery that Hayeswood requested. But all in all would it perhaps be something we might see in the future?

Re: British Rail Set : Current = 5.0
I know, I promised stuff earlier, but it seems a bit dead here, so its time to spice things up again. So stay tuned. Btw the Falkirk wheel is an awesome contraption. Also the trains running there.
I will work on it in the weekends, because my current job (system administrator), takes a lot of time, currently upgrading/replacing hardware, this takes a lot of time in the weekend, also working with a friend of mine at a Tiberium Wars mod. Also trying to get my OTTD mod starting without stepping on everyone's toes. (Doing a brain transplantation is probably easier.)
and yes the 380 thingy is sitting on my harddrive...

Re: British Rail Set : Current = 5.0
Nice bump! Well, if Plastikman bothers to make new 3D models from the MSTS ones.
Re: British Rail Set : Current = 5.0
If you've got the time, the addition would be welcome.Illegal_Alien wrote:Someone interested in ScotRail trains? I took a long enough break I think.

Hi sorry to bump this post after so long, butMjD wrote:Sorry to say, but atm no. There is currently no msts model of a 309 so i cant convert it. If you can find me one, i'll convert it for you, how does that sound? (that includes getting the authors permission btw)intercity125 wrote:
What about the 309, one of the finest British EMU's ever built???
A) are you still developing stuff for loco?
B) if you are, any chance of a 302, 306, 309 & intercity liveried mk2's?
Re: British Rail Set : Current = 5.0
there as a 309 available on the great eastern route by making tracks. You could seek permission from there to use theres

MajorDuck isn't really around much, nor are any of the original modders (Plastikman, bluebeetle, IA). EDS is rising to the challenge, but he does mostly industries and stations.jimbobuk wrote:A) are you still developing stuff for loco?
Re: British Rail Set : Current = 5.0
I would do more modding but alas I can't get msts2loco to work with windows 7. Keep getting VB.User control error. Although I haven't done many vehicles they aren't that hard to code and convert(with proper programs( the hard part is creating them and the only program I have for creating is TS Modeler
Re: British Rail Set : Current = 5.0
I hear that Walter's program is easy and effective.

Re: British Rail Set : Current = 5.0
The site doesn't say how to fix vb.usercontol error
Re: British Rail Set : Current = 5.0
It's a program, not a help website.
Re: British Rail Set : Current = 5.0
I just did a google search for "vb.usercontrol error" and came up with answers. I suggest you do the same.
edit: @isbc: If you search Walters website, I think you'll find what you are looking for.

I am now working with Windows 7 32-bit. It may be that it does not work with 64-bit.
Sorry for this long off topic

Re: British Rail Set : Current = 5.0
I have windows 32 bit system and get vb. userControl error with msts2loco v1.01 after much frustration I tried the old version that comes with vehicle creator and got the old version running... no bells or whistles but can now get some of my msts stuff converted... sure miss the newer version but can adapt and take long road.
All my looking on the web leads me to believe my VB is newer than need be. using compatibility function did nothing.. Not sure if worth the trouble to downgrade to an older VB version so looking at thrift stores for a windows xp system cheap

Re: British Rail Set : Current = 5.0
Retarded people on internet forums say that your Windows XP machine will explode at 00.01 on 09/04/2014.lsbc wrote:so looking at thrift stores for a windows xp system cheap
So there should be lots of cheap machines running Windows XP for you to choose from as people rush to upgrade at the last minute.
I only stopped using Windows 98 last year and hackers never turned that machine into a brick, so don't believe what the scaremongers say!
Back on topic... Anybody working on a BR Class 70 for Locomotion?
