On my DOS TTD cd, grf files are in main CD directory.
Thanks.

Ok, now instead of leaving the CD Browse blank, I'll set it to C:\MPS\TTDLX

I've fixe all bugs of the installer :)

Expect to see it soon.

Would someone like to work on a program that checks for updates?

See http://members.cox.net/tallwoodband/ope ... n_cmpt.htm for details on how I already have files in place to assist you.

I don't have the CD version of TTDX, so I didn't know which files to look for. It appears I probably chose the wrong files ;). It's not a bug in NSIS, it's a bug in my script.

I suppose I could put together a neat auto-updater..

My new installer is ready! Now, it's only 583 kb!

Vurlix, go on ahead and create an auto-update program.

The web site is redesigned at http://members.cox.net/tallwoodband/openttd

hmm. I believe my (unfinished) TTDPatch + graphics sets was smaller.

This because it just gets information about the latest patch and it's filename from a text file on ttdpatch.net, and then downloads the patch files and unzips them.

Quite effective. :)
Incredible what you can do with NSIS...
