Yes, that was the whole idea.. Thx for reading my mind.
However, the percentage is not necessary. I was rather thinking of a multiplier (or in this case: a divider). Something like this:

One more thing: what do you do in order to make a helicopter (besides the grf encoding)? From what I learned, it uses two sprites: 1) the fuselace and 2) the animated ellise (hope this is the right word

). I suppose there's a flag of some kind which tells the engine whether the aircraft is VTOL or not. Is there a way to replace this animated part, leaving the original helicopters unchanged, or perhaps to make a helicopter (or similar aircraft) without one? Tell me if I ask too much
