Rob, take a look at this, I included all you asked, plus something else (not too much)

>the stations at different levels are not quite noticeable... but it's there, behind the game menu, where the food trains come. You can realize there are 2 levels (it's tricky because of the tropical slopes being a similar color to the station platform)

>now there are longer stations and trains (x10)

Uses new canal graphics by George. Download GRF file here

For instructions of how to install this intro; see the first post. Other than that, yuo will need to have the new canals graphics successfully installed.

By the way: After creating the intros for the tropical and arctic climate with default GRF settings, I can say THANKS to everybody who creates new GRF files!! it's a complete madness to run with such a low variety of engines (@_@#) I had forgotten it... when you begin using newgrf, you can't come back to original...

Jezulkim: that looks better now! I hope to see more of your work, keep improving it.
I've realized you are using a special set of bridges that are not the originals. You should say which GRF did you use in the creation of that intro; and where to get them

Maybe you mean the Toyland to Mars convension, by George. It's indeed an interesting change for the Toyland

Sanchimaru: I like the old intro screen because it displays all vehicle types (train, monorail, maglev, plane, bus, truck, boat, helicopter) on the one screen.
Yours have only trains (and the tropic one has some boats, ok)

I'm missing something ;)

P.S. I do think we need new intro screens! so keep it up :D

Yeah looks good, you even managed to show off the custombridgeheads. :D
I also notice you're a big fan of higher bridges.
It's a bit like Korenn already said, in the original they show off everything in one go.
It's a bit like advertising really, just convince everyone to play and play and play and even play some more.

Thanks a lot for the feedback!

I agree with Korenn too: In fact, I wanted to add more vehicle types to the 2 latest intros, but I released them soon to make them available; and maybe to inspire someone to begin working on them.... (Jezulkim already began, is he the only one with talent enough?)
That's why until now, I like the best the first one I made, That one has the wider variety of vehicles. There is no maglev, but it's unified, so I think there are both maglev/monorail trains (there are 3 mono/mag trains in that one)

Rob: It was funny to create an intro according with your suggestion! your advice was quite useful, thanks! You noted the long bridges, eh? I thought the ones in the temperate and arctic intros were not noticeable enough, so I decided to use really long ones here. This makes them actually a little bit unuseful (trains have to wait for ages since it is IMPOSSIBLE to place signals in bridges... enn... oh... ah... did I say it ws IMPOSSIBLE to do!? :D) but I just wanted to show that one feature

I was also trying to make the vehicles be useful, so that they load and unload... in the original game intro, they just ran around, most stations don't even accept anything; and there isn't even a truck/bus station!

I'll try to add something new...

This all looks interesting to me. I'll have a try myself whenever I get the time for it, and if it doesn't look too ugly, I'll post it here. I think I won't add all kind of vehicles, but stick to a certain decade. For example 1930 with only steam trains and an early EMU, some Ford TriMotors and Dakota's buzzing around, and a few buses.

Concluding: Jezulkim isn't the only one working on it... ;)

Thanks, slayer! Don't you want to try and do one yourself? indeed, you can't scroll; but hey! for that we have the game itself

I am planning to release some new intros in the near future...

Here is an screen of my future intro. This is my best junction (it isn't very great, but it works:) ). The trains don't have orders, this is a thing that I will fix. EDIT: Now is better. EDIT2: Now the new intro is disponible!.

Underbuilder: Where did you downloaded that new maglev?
Or are you the creator of that new maglev?
Because it's not in the

The maglev train is the Transrapid in the DBSet...
And the track is from the German Tram Set back when it used to replace maglev/monorail.
