I missed that steamer with my glasses
So Duisburg?
Yes of course - as you might know by now, I'm a big fan of "real-world" scenarios with a heavy "Steeltown" touch
And Duisburg was - and still is - the quintessential steeltown, with the Schwelgern coking plant featuring the largest coke ovens in the world and the Schwelgern 2 blast furnace the largest in Europe. Also, in the 1960s era, which the new scenario will focus on, there were still a significant number of coal mines in the area, some mining even under the Rhine river, and then the largest inland harbour in the world.
I'm currently making good progress but will very likely not finish and release before the end of the year.

Berlin or Dresden would also be nice.
Hm, not sure - there isn't that much interesting industry there.
Once I'm finished with this scenario (and also the corresponding industry NewGRF I'm working on in parallel) I want to play a bit for the next couple of months
Then, I will possibly go for something really exotic, although this is often made difficult by lack of proper vehicle sets, or something very large with a full country.
Poland is an idea due to the nice PKP set and also very rich in industry - or Czech Republic

Although I don't really like the 32-bit CZ set, since it is incomplete and does not blend very well with other add-ons, in particular for early (pre-1900) games.
However, what I tend to most at the moment would be Germany+Austria+Switzerland from the Danish border with an extension down to the Italian ports of the Mediterranean ... But I first need to automatize the map to scenario generation.
