[REL]Version 2012 of my rail vehicle packs

Re: [WIP/REL]Version 2012 of my rail vehicle packs
OK, finally I choose not to use dark brown color on the boxcars. I used dark gray and greenish blue instead. The boxcars painted in these cars do exist although not that commonly seen. They all look good now

Re: [WIP/REL]Version 2012 of my rail vehicle packs
Weird how these do look good and the brown ones don't. Is it possible to use company colors for them or not?
Re: [WIP/REL]Version 2012 of my rail vehicle packs
It's likely the problem of how differing is applied when indexed color is applied to the sprites. What I can do is just to avoid using dull colors (i.e. with low saturation) on the bodies. There should be no problem using company color, but it is not the real cases o I thikn it's not a good idea to do so. Company color is used on tanker wagon and refrigerator car only

Re: [WIP/REL]Version 2012 of my rail vehicle packs
Yeah I understand. Having only one color would be boring, but I have no idea what it is prototypically.
Re: [WIP/REL]Version 2012 of my rail vehicle packs
Just proceed to gondola (i.e. open-top) wagons. These 2 only deliver coal, with capacity of up to 80t. Does it high enough for you?

OK, let's have something with a choking stinky smell That's the livestock cars. Their smell should be unforgettable if you are lucky (or unlucky) enough to see them running. In real case, livestock transportation on rails have been obsolete since last decade, and the remaining livestock cars were heavily refitted to deliver automobiles.

By any chance could you convert those metro stations and signals for use on regular track? Signals would be good for subways, and those stations remind me of several commuter stations I've seen.
Re: [WIP/REL]Version 2012 of my rail vehicle packs
All the track mods (signals, bridges...) can be added into any other kinds of tracks like narrow gauge, monorails, maglevs.... but you need to modify the track object itself. There should be plenty of HOWTOs available so I don't mention the steps

I think there are more variations in huge amount of Churches you already have made then the possible freightcars...K.Y.Chung wrote:It seems that the freight car pack is an endless project

The older type of grain hopper is finished So I've done the sprites of all wagons, but then I need to prepare those with cargo loaded

Re: [WIP/REL]Version 2012 of my rail vehicle packs
Will there be different versions with the visible cargos, like empty, half full en full?
