Yes, the NSBset is fully translated (check the user guide on how to activate the norwegian language) and LangNor.grf is up to date with alpha 71.

You may just as well wait a little bit longer. There are only a few new text strings, and those are for set developers anyway. Of course you could practice modifying LangNor.

The wonders of GRF.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

They are all in LangNor.grf. I just add the new ones. ;) Ask Oz how it is done.

Edit: But don't expect anything for about a week; I will be offline until March 4th (winter holidays).

... Norwegian Language Texts ...
LangNor.grf contains all text strings that can normally be found in 'ttdpttxt.dat/.txt' translated into Norwegian; it contains all currency texts translated as well. The Person has the source and instructions how to modify LangNor.grf.

As for how to get it. It can be found at the same place where the Norwegian Trainset (NSBset) is available and that is here, it is part of the NSBset download. You can also search GRFCrawler, there is a link there.

... from a few posts up ... LangNor.grf contains all text strings that can normally be found in 'ttdpttxt.dat/.txt' translated into Norwegian. ...
So, LangNor.grf, does indeed only contain translated strings. All the strings that have been translated can be found in the wiki near the bottom under 'TextIDs' and it's the 'F800 Internal TTDPatch texts' section only. On top of that all currency display names have been translated as well, but not by using the text string IDs, due to imbedded nul-bytes.

Further, using LangNor.grf, you no longer have to distribute 'ttdpttxt.dat/.txt', because all that is in those files is now in LangNor.

Yes, I do know how to update it; I created it in the first place. Let's just wait until The Person comes back; there are only a few strings and they are not that important to be up-to-date. The Person shall have a go at it; so he gets some practice updating a .grf.

BTW, LangNor will always work with new alpha's, the only issues are that new strings will be in English for a while.
