Post by Walter1940 »

OK, I've tested the last hour your trains.

However, I have some comments.

The sound and the horn are a bit quiet. Also reminds me of the driving sound of an old vacuum cleaner. It is no reproach. You probably know the train only from television and from MSTS. But in reality it is much louder and the horn is stronger.

You've given so much trouble. But unfortunately, all parts are much too long. Therefore, the coaches jump in the curves of the rails. (See picture)

The distances between the cars, I would increase minimally.

But he is qualitatively up front. *Thumbs up*

The Game. All vehicles are adapted to the game. The authors also all do so. Apart from graphics errors it sees in curves not look good if the carriages are next to the tracks.

Just to say a huge thank you and that we appreciate that you would do this.
It doesn't bother me either way but the fact you would go to these lengths to make people happy with your creation is a great thing.

So thank you and keep up the great work

Somebody can help to modify or revise the scale of attached Shinkansen JR500?
It looks distorted in dimension (larger) compared with the other trains.

^^ I've tested the train, but, the model look with issues.

I recomend you check the Walter1940 tutorial for rescaling and exporting , also if is posible , use the Locomotion palette colours for the .ace texture.

http://www.walter1940.de/tutorial/msts2loco/ if you dont want rescaling
http://www.walter1940.de/tutorial/msts2 ... w/english/ Rescaling ( read bottom )

Seriosly the Walter Tutorials are very recomended tutorials. ;)

Dear Manuel18 and Sirs:
Would you please advise me which variables need to be revised by locotool if I intended to re-size the train length?

Thanks in advance.

1.- the most important you need rescale the 3D MODEL to get a locomotion scale , Real scale = 1, rescale = 0.8 or 0.7

Check the XML vehicle dat, and you will find this line

<structure name="sprites[0]" size="30">
<variable name="numdir" size="1">64</variable>
<unknown name="field_1" size="1">32</unknown>
<unknown name="field_2" size="1">1</unknown>
<variable name="vehtype" size="1">1</variable>
<variable name="numunits" size="1">1</variable>
<unknown name="field_5" size="1">1</unknown>
<variable name="bogeypos" size="1">79</variable> (Size)
<bitmask name="flags" size="1">
<bit name="hassprites">1</bit>
<bit name="bit_3">1</bit>
<bit name="reversed">0</bit>

I still have a problem in the train length rescale.

Can I only use locotool to rescale the vehicle size(length)?
Any other edit program I need to collect?

Please.......

No , you cant, you need apply the Walter1940 tutorial to rescale the 3D MSTS model first.

READ THE BOTTOM OF THIS TUTORIAL PLEASE ( Title : Overlong Models )
http://www.walter1940.de/tutorial/msts2 ... w/english/

You will need the following programs:

- Microsoft TrainSimulator / Utils Folder exactly

- Shape File Manager

I put on my website a link to yours. 8)

I've only one problem. The AGV is at your side in the folder Italy. But that is produced in France. The Italian also. He is just the little brother of the French model.
