Grfcodec 0.9.5 not converting DOS -> Windows

Post by Hyronymus »

I think is just for you Josef: whenever I try to convert my DOS graphics to Windows I end up with the wrong palette. I have asked Dinges and Rob for advice but they have no idea either. Rob said it never succeeded him ever before and Dinges and I spent yesterevening trying all kinds of ways to tackle the problem. I'm seriously believing there is something wrong with grfcodec.exe for this conversion. If you believe the opposite (whatever that may be) would you be so kind to tell me how you tackle this problem? If you want to fiddle yourself you may want to convert my European Roadset from DOS to Windows. Good luck / have fun.

Does grf codec support conversions meanwhile? I was away for some time, but I still say copy/pasting the sprites manualy. This will work for sure.
