Glad to hear that you did not have problems yet.
The need to install a special version is a extra barrier yes, but it only takes one !@#$%^. Save often ...
The coopserver works with passwords to prevent bad things happening if I understood correctly. (which is no guarantee neither but again an extra hurdle.)

About the towns doing unwanted stuff ... I have yet to experience it myself but it can happen according to previous posts here and there on the forums.

There is different gameplay style, but that s what i was wishing... it gives more variety ! Also anyone playing with Chillpatchpack is usually knowing a miminum how to make a network

Different playing styles is the good thing about MP games.
Knowing how to make a proper network is debatable. I have seen savegames of which I think "why the hell are you doing that?", but I would never say it out loud ofcourse. To each his own style and as long as it works for that player ...

I ll for sure upload the savegame here... cause if not i will have to fill many pages of the forum with screeenies to show everything.

But hey come on Chill, come play with us ! show us what you got !! or at least come to see for yourself if you can t wait for the save

I have a patchpack and you see it every time you play with it.
I can wait for the savegame ... no rush.

As for me coming over and play with you ... I am afraid it will not be a pleasant experience for the other players. I have a wireless internet connection (the modem is wireless, not my pc's connection to it) and the server will be paused more often then not due to me having to re-connect over and over, ask DJ ... we had a little MP game some time ago on his dedicated server and the map was smaller also, after a while it became ridiculous having to wait each time.
Maybe it will be better after I have moved in a few weeks as then I can put my modem two floors higher and hopefully have a more stable connection. If not I will be changing to a wired subscription in september ... when my contract expires.

I m sad to hear your internet is the reason for you not joining us...So i sincerely wish you a better internet connection where you will move in.

And about the people able to make (or not) a network... i tend to totally agree with you in fact... maybe some rules could be necessary to avoid big mess... but well i want poeple to have fun... and me too (i don t want to do the policeman).

ooh, playing Cindini with Cargodist gave my desktop the sh!ts once it started to become interesting, and that with an Intel i7.

That's a long time ago though. might be that cargodist has improved by now. Might be worth giving it another try.

Colossal thanks for the tips... but well i bet players had to choose to refit their bus to company color so maybe they like it ?!?! i personally don t use it cause it will be anyway lost at first autoreplacement...
