Fortunately, he's well and truly pissed, leaving me free to hop along to St Enoch, in accordance with the 1987 Scottish Variation.

Boys!
Heading far too far out of the zones according to the 1944 Regulation of Wartime Distance Clause. Dragging us back into the mire, I make a horribly complex move to Bank.

Re: Mornington Crescent
Sober or otherwise, it doesn't really matter since since we're still moving on the four rail London Underground.JamieLei wrote:Since Rotherite is in action, it therefore blocks the use of any subsequent Third Rail station, as long as Barry Cryer is sober.
So I make the move: To Mornington Cressent!
Only I've been sent down the wrong line due to a run away engineering train and sat at Euston
Can I not just walk, and call that a win for me?
Re: Mornington Crescent
No I'm afraid walking contravenes the Burgundy Table Rules of 1844 which state that all moves must take place on wheels, and thus you are in Nid.
I take a turn Heathrow Terminal 5.

Re: Mornington Crescent
Unfortunately, due to the Heathrow Rules (Addendum) issued on the 1st April 2008, which states that journeys to Heathrow Stations must not originate from the Northern line, that move is disqualified, and thus, I move from Euston to Hyde Park Corner.

Using the Ihaveabsolutelynoideahowtoplaythegame Act of 30 November 2010 I join the game, go to Finsbury Park and change to Kings Cross.

Re: Mornington Crescent
I use the Scotrail Shuttle Rule, first publicised by Anthony Robert MacMillan, OBE, and move to Glasgow Queen St.

However the act of Ihaveabsolutelynoideahowtoplaythisgame of 30 November says that the next 2 moves must not go beyond the border.

Re: Mornington Crescent
Ahh, but the aforementioned Shuttle rule discounts its repeated use for the next turn, leaving you in Nid. I, however, move to Merkland Street using the Glasgow District Subway Rulebook (1896 edition).

Notices that Merkland street is closed, placing you in Nid, meaning that I can move to....

Re: Mornington Crescent
Rugby is on the WCML. You cannot find Nid if you are in Nid. Having typed that I invoke the Homestead Nid Explanation Expansion Clause of 1977, Section 4, subsection G, paragraph 3, lines 27 through 31 inclusive, and return to London Euston. This fulfills the need of said ruling to get the game back to its London Underground roots - or routes if you prefer.

Re: Mornington Crescent
I was joking about it, thus why I apparently have such an old rule book.
Re: Mornington Crescent
From Euston, I move to Stratford via Highbury & Islington (which The OSXRULES amendment of 24th december 2007 allows)

Re: Mornington Crescent
Those same rules allow me to get to Coventry.
Matthew:out
P.S. When we get back to London, the 221B rules will be invoked.

Re: Mornington Crescent
But you can't get to Coventry from Stratford according to the SuperSprinter (Class 153) rule (part 1b). You are deducted 3 tokens. Instead, by playing by the 1871 Maxwell-Boltzmann amendment with updated Numberwang adjustments I arrive at Reading West.

Re: Mornington Crescent
Employing the Greater Webtoed Convention of East Anglia I catch the train to Berney Arms. Before you all argue, the London Transport Act (1911) states that Berney Arms and Reading West both lie in zone 7 of the London Underground and therefore such a move to Berney Arms is permissible dispite horrifically tenuous links.
