old german semaphore signals Vol 2

Post by MartinMundorf »

Oops, I did it again...
and AZUWSK helped me for fixing the signals.

these signals show each 3 different items. The preesignal: " expect track free" / "expect slow drive (40km/h - 24.85mph)" / "expect stop"
The mainsignal: "track free" / "slow drive (or expect junction)" / "stop"

also two new stations are included.

The stations are made by me - they are not converted from an other game. I wanted to make a little bit of "modern art" platforms - You don´t have to like or use them.

When you compare the signals with the original (ingame-) buildings, they might look very tall. But when you compare them with the track - their hight is plausible. And also in reality, these signals have many different heights - their length differes from station to station, according to the local space. But there are so many modifications out there who all can´t hold the same scale to the original buildings, so its naerly impossible to find the "right" lenght or enxtension.

the examples for different heights of the same signal:

(the signal in the first image is the smallest, as you can see, its almost 2 stories tall)

These signales are not converted from msts - I created them by myself in google Scetch Up - anyway: also the austrian railways used (and may still use) semaphore signals which look very close to the german, because from 1938 to 1945 it belonged to germany, also the two railway companies were united, including signal instructions.

PS: The towns in Austria are called "Innsbruck" and "St. Anton" ;)
