Congrats. However, the opengfx.obg file says: [OpenGFX nightly-r272M]

Yes, that's unfortunate, albeit everything else is the same. The build system obviously fails to update opengfx.obg when nothing except the version of the repo (commit and /or tag) changes.

Also I saw some dodgy offsets resulting in undrawn areas. I will be getting some screen grabs for you soon.

Congratulations everyone! It's really nice to see it done. Many thanks to all who contributed (I will shamelessly put myself in this group, as I once suggested changing a colour of one building to someone... I don't remember to whom... anyway... I consider myself an accomplished contributor to this project;) )

Today we released OpenGFX 0.2.1. With a fix for the mapgen sprites for the original terrain generator and the additon of the windows shading sprites two major improvements were added which ensure that OpenGFX continues to provide all sprites necessary to enjoy OpenTTD. We therefor strongly recommend an update ;-)
As of this version we'll also be able to supply rpms for nearly all linux versions which use them by default. Some other minor changes and fixes with respect to 0.2.0 complete this version. For details see the enclosed changelog.

Thanks again to all contributors and enjoy! Please keep reporting bugs and glitches - only when we're aware of it we can fix it.

with Openttd 1.0.0 and with your work, now it's 100% free ^^

Thanks for your work, be proud! :D

(You should now improve some of the graphics, like the paper wagons (that using sprites from fruit etc..) or the drinks factory!)

Thanks. I'll have a look at the wagons. As said, we always gladly accept contributions.

Thanks, noted. I'll see whether something can be done about. In case of doubt I'll be happy to accept snowy versions of the graphics :-)

No industries, except the Arctic forest, have above snow line or in desert specific graphics, and sadly there is nothing that can be done about this with the straight graphics replacement (ie. base OpenGFX), snowy graphics would be accepted though and could be included via a newgrf.

Junctions look a bit different than normal tracks to me.
Have a look at the two screenshots.
"Without grass conversion" is the default in 1.0.0 beta 1.
"With grass conversion" is with a grf which converts arctic to temperate grass.

"Without" the junctions are brighter and "With" the junctions are darker.

But why do the junctions look different then?
With original TTD graphics it works fine.

The grf which adds temparate grass to the arctic climates includes a copy of all the original graphcs for temperate grass, road and rail and applies them to the arctic climate. This means whichever base graphics set you are using (ie. original OR OpenGFX) the temperate grass grf will allways use the original graphics version of temperate grass/road/rail.

If you want OpenGFX temperate grass in the arctic climate you will need to make a grf which does that, not one which adds original graphics temperate grass to the arctic climate.

Here's an save that help to show the paper wagon problem, that uses fruit graphics (only in Monotrains and maglevs it seems. i don't really know about the regular trains, since the trucks really shows the rolls of paper, instead of the green wagon), using 1.0.0-beta2 with the last stable OpenGFX.

Also here to report an problem with the headline in the 2050 final newspaper, with an attached pic of it.

I'm sorry that i can't help more :(

Thanks for that report, I didn't realise that text is placed over the newspaper. It'll take a bit of a redraw...
