routing trains?
what happens to the trains when they reach their destination?,,, do i have to route them back or do they deadhead back to their starting point? if i route to multiple stations dropping off and picking up cargo what happens to the train at the end of the line? am trying to use as fewer trains and running longer routes ,,, in real life this would seem to be the logical thing to do am i waisting time and money doing this in the simm?
Re: routing trains?
It runs wherever it wants. Totally random at each signal block.
For some reason you have to put a waypoint before and after each signal block for it to find it's way. Stupid "Not-allowed-to-edit-the-.EXE"-thing...

not strictly true, it depends on how complex the network is, how many decisions need to be made, etc. I also never put waypoints before a signal block, but putting one afterward is advisable.
