My mind reading skills are once again failing on me. Please specify the exact steps needed to reproduce your problem. I.e. some sequence of actions that starts with loading your savegame and ends with a crash.

Get the correct sample.cat?
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Same Sample cat works perfectly in Revision 16058. tried copying sample cat out of the CD and putting it in the folder and didn't work.

One question to manage the bankrupcy trouble, would be possible to make the company's rails change its owner settings to none instead of dissapearing, just like what happens to roads in this moment? And since those cases suffers the same issues, the same solutions should be applied. Or are there any differences between them that make each one require different threatments?

It's not a principle obstacle and yes, we thought of that also and I still like that idea somewhat. Removing everything is easier though as that is the default action taken which we don't need to take care of in the patch.

Adding that involves no big problems as far as I see, but some work and answering some questions: whom to pay for unowned tracks? May everyone destroy them as unowned roads? May everyone add pieces of track to that and how does that influence ownership? What to do with evil companies who buy a single tile of track in the middle of an unowned line and disallow anyone else to use it? Or allow that but charge insanely high fees? What about stations? Yes, town stations would be cool :)

All these questions IMO show, that this is all quite desirable (from my POV), but that it might also be an option to ratherplace it in an add-on patch to this existing IS patch.

or cant you buy out X amout of track from the bankrupcy companies

send some thing to the companie asking can i buy this line from a to b

or make the towns own the track with runing cost set to higer but players will be able to delete and rebuild there own tracks there

and if a town owns the railway track any companie can use it

So... and who gets it, if companies A,B,C and D use the tracks, each with the same number of trains, all visiting the same station?

What if more then one company is using it who sold it be sold off to?

company who has the most shares

talking about shares can we buy shares in just track

so you can buy out parts of the company not the hole thing

would make the game A LOT better see a railway line not makeing A LOT of money you can offer it up for sale

could see this working with realy players but not the AI

That's easy, sell it to whoever is willing to pay more. Auction is quite common method how creditors get money from bankrupt companies, right?
Of course, framework for auctions or passing property between companies is far out of scope of this patch, but it IMHO might be interesting in itself.

based on shares, where 75% shares would mean 100% of tiles, if 3 companies each hold 25% of the shares they each get 33% of the track (but some magic has to be done to check who actually -uses- that track as it's useless for company B to receive track that only A and C uses...)
