Need some help getting in and out of stations

Post by xicarusx »

I have a RO-RO station that is 6 tracks wide. What is the most efficient way to set the tracks up leading in and out of the station? I also need some help with multi track setups. i usually run 2 one way tracks. and ahve trains enter from other stations to my "main line". Whats the best way to get them not to congest at the entrance. Is it to set up 2 tracks going in the same direction?

Mate, I use quite a few large RORO stations, and I've found the least congestive way to make them run is split the inbound line into two lines about 20 blocks out, and run either side of the split into 3 platforms each. Then I do the same on the way out, but maybe stagger the length of each line until I'm just running a single one way line. Comprende?
