Especially cities in yankeestan. They have skyscrapers there, whereas European cites have mostly television towers to mark the skylines.
Also, I hope my point was made clear this topic is made of utter fail and loose.
Furthermore, this is the last post I'm making here and this topic is going to be ignored as it doesn't make any farking sense. Enjoy your failure.

I don't get it. Why should I give a sh*t about a shopping centre in a city thousands of miles away from me that I've never been to and I can't recognise the skyline of from 20 miles away?

Re: Xanadu(Or how I started to worry and hate the ent center)
Why do you expect everyone to recognize the NYC skyline? In your images the only recognizable structure (the Empire State Building) isn't even clear so you can't bash people for not knowing where that is.
As for my opinion, I think it looks fine.
Dunbrine47, you live in New Jersey?
That doesn't answer where this complex is. For those of you who do care, it's in New Jersey.dunbrine47 wrote:If you took some time to look in the background you would see New York City. .

Re: Xanadu(Or how I started to worry and hate the ent center)
I don't know about the rest of the people here, but I in general cannot recognise a city by a distant image of some buildings.
Amorphous blobs of skyscrapers and sprawl exist the world over.
I don't see why people are (mildly, I'll admit) bashing Eastern European cities earlier in this thread, with the implication that Europeans would be better of visiting some place on a different continent.
I, as a European, have mean to many of said cities, and they are very nice. Warsaw, Kraków, Vienna, Prague, Tallinn, to name a few, and even St. Petersburg isn't that bad.
I have never been to the US and I have absolutely no intention of doing so in the future, I'd much rather explore in the entirely opposite direction.
In general the US is *not* the centre of the known universe, expecting the whole world to know about your particular area of dirt over their own and more local neighbours is just arrogance.
EDIT: I did not notice the extent to which this topic had been gravedug when I made the above comment.
Hence it (and in fact the entire thread), is essentially redundant and superfluous, and can safely be ignored.
