Modifying Train Speed

Post by Draxon »

Hello,

I have been attempting to edit the speed of trains for some time with limited success. I have got to the point where I have the NFO in notepad but I have been unable to establish what to change to determine speed and horsepower etc. The link commonly given to explain this has speed settings listed as an unfinished tutorial. In essence I would simply like to increase the speed of the Stage 4 maglev from 400mph to 1000mph. I have played the game since it's release and have always wanted to do this, however unlike TTDAlter, there does not seem to b a simple way to do this without someone kindly informing me of what to change in the NFO.

Thanks and I look forward to a reply.

Which NFO?
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.
Projects: NFORenum (download) | PlaneSet (Website) | grfcodec (download) | grfdebug.log parser
