EXTspotter's Screen Adventures
Here is a screenie from my current game;
The transport hub for Salmon Rail is Nantway, the biggest city in the world. The company started from here in 1925, and the original station, which was 3 platforms, one 1 square long bay and 2 3 square long through platforms has been expanded. The length of the city line bay has doubled to two squares and 8 more through platforms have been added and extended.
Waiting at the exit to platform one is an AM10 on the city line.
On platform two is the valuables AM2 to Geaberg Bay.
On platform three is a Type 2 and 4 pax carriages departing to Liverston.
On platform four is two Class 81s with a valuables train to Tanington Green.
On platform five is two 47s with a mail train to Plunshaw Ridge.
On platform six is a Type 2 with a stopper to Liverdore.
On platform seven is a Type 2 arriving from Donlow and the circular lake route.
On platform eight is a Class 86 about to depart to Windham.
On platform nine is a Type 2 on a stopper to Tannington Green.
About to arrive in Platform 10 is an 86 from Windham.

Re: EXTspotter's Screen Adventures
Another of the shots of this game; this time at Ginningdore on the express Nantway to Taningdon Green route, where the junction to Windthwaite Springs splits from the line. The town has grown a lot in the last 100 years, and the station has been recently modified to add in another two platforms for increased valuables services. In platform one is a voyager going to Nantway from Windthwaite Springs finishes loading as a 321 pulls into platform three with a stopper to Taningdon Green and another 321 on platform four terminates before returning to Nantway. An express passenger pendolino pulls back onto the main from the avoiding line going towards Nantway and passes a valuables pendolino going to Ginningdore and Taningdon Green.

Re: EXTspotter's Screen Adventures
Here is a bit of a story;
Intro: An influx of muslim migrants has moved into the region to escape persecution at home, through this there has been a growth in Mosques around the country, to aid muslim unity in the isolated pockets of people, the muslim council has decided to get mosques working together in projects. The first visit from one mosque to another was conducted between the mosque in Danston, where many are working in the leisure industry and the mosque in Truddown End, a relatively recent area of muslim growth.
1:
The head of the muslim council along with members of the Danston Mosque board the first train of the morning, the 05:12 from Danston Woods to Tanington Green Woods.
2:
After getting off the 321 at platform 3, they board the Express 12 carriage pendo 05:57 non-stop to Nantway at platform 1.
3:
Arrival at platform 5 Natway, their next departure is the 08:21 10 carriage voyager on platform 4 going to Truddown End, stopping at Accway and Feedstow.

Re: EXTspotter's Screen Adventures
10: Having missed their connection due to the wrong kind of leaves on the line, they go back towards Nantway on another 321 via New Lewisston
11: At Nantway they changed onto two 159s bound for Liverston, where they changed again onto a 321 to Tanington Green via Guby Cross
12: Back in Danston on the same train they took on the first leg of their journey after 10 rail journeys, on a mixture of all the passenger trains operated by Salmon Rail, the 158/159, 321, 220/221, 390 and A4.

Hehe - nice replicas of the FGW Sprinters in their colours!
Although agreed, those crossover sections are crazy!
I think adding Stolen Trees would give a little sparkle to those images

The big crossovers are in order to make trains turn around if two trains try and enter a platform at the same time and one can move into a different platform. I like the look of Stolen Trees, but I use the GRFs needed on brianettas server so I didn't think of downloading any more before starting.

Re: EXTspotter's Screen Adventures
You can have more GRFs then what a server needs because it just doesn't use ones that it doesn't need. I think that makes sense, well i think its true.EXTspotter wrote:The big crossovers are in order to make trains turn around if two trains try and enter a platform at the same time and one can move into a different platform. Its like if you need five pounds to go to th cinema, but you can still carry 6 or 7.
Just try it, if it doesn't work like i have said then remove it and i am wrong.

Personally, I would just add the entire openttdcoop graphics pack to your folder - that way you've got absolutely everything.

The dragons mouth. The entrance into London's Marylebone, Euston, St. Pancras, Kings Cross and Liverpool Street, with EMUs full of commuters coming from Peterborough, Cambridge, Kings Lynn, Norwich and Bedford.

Re: EXTspotter's Screen Adventures
Its the UK Map I made for the BR Set and UK Planeset. I tried it with the beta worldplaneset and the HST/185 Preview and it looked so gewd.
I would do seperate London stations, but London is too small in this scale. If it was maybe twice the size I would have considered.
