The US set contains real rubber-transport cars that I found a photo of, and it looks like they would work as you describe. They seem to have big slots that, I suppose, the blocks of hard rubber would simply be placed in from the side.

Hum. I suppose industry sets should consider recategorising rubber as piece goods instead of liquid, then? :)

I'm using the tropical refurbishment set and that uses box-cars already. I guess that using general cargo platforms would suit then, yeah.

Hi, I'm a bit of a noob and I can't get the new stations to appear in Openttd 0.6.0. I'm using windows and I added the newgrf Industrial Stations Renewal v0.6.3. However it doesn't appear to be registering and I can only use the default station. Could someone help me please because the new stations look sweet!

Hi Barlam

Welcome to the forum. :D

Please read the OpenTTD NewGRF documentation, particularly the section 'Activating NewGRFs'. If you're still stuck, let us know at what point you are having a problem.

Hello, I have the same problem as Barlam and yes I am still quite a noob, but please we are not so silly and we know how to activate a newgrf! ;-)

With all your questions regarding graphic problems, there should be a problem with your version of OTTD rather then with the graphics themselves. To me it looks like as if you have the wrong original .grf files loaded. Could be wrong though. I hope you've read the Read Me file...

Also, providing your version of OTTD, a savegame and the .cfg file would help a lot with solving the problem.

Dudes, I think you need to click on the small 'downwards triangle' next to 'Puvodni Stanice'!

OMG that's it!! Now it works when I clicked there :-] I have to say I am sorry and admit that I am not that clever really :-)
But really it is not too clear, because this looks like a normal open windows combo box with only one item in it, so that's why I (and neither Toni Babelony) did not realise :-]

That is quite amazing, you were right. That should really be in the readme though. Cheers for helping

Don't worry about it guys, it's nice to know that it did help you all out and that you can enjoy the game as much as I did. Sometimes, the easiest solution is right there in front of our eyes but we let the technicalities slow us down.

Cheers! Enjoy the newest GRFs!

I have yet a question. I think there is some possibility to build stations with this graphics stuff randomly! Not to assemble it piece by piece but just drag and drop and have something with cranes or with parking lots you know... I think there was some grf doing this...

>LoWang: There are a number of stations in ISR that can be built in one go with a random arrangement. Examples are the Farm facilities, Grain silo, Mineral silo and Oil facilities.

More one-click-build stations have already been requested. If you look 2 pages back you can read the discussion and the planned changes and additions for v0.7.0. :D

Here’s the new one-click-build valuables station that I am working on:

Looks appropriate for more than just valuables; would suit goods, food etc?

Thanks for your comments everyone. :) The look of the valuables station is down to Ben_K's great graphics, I even took the overall layout from one of his screenshots, posted many pages back. You can of course, already build this layout with ISR v0.6.3, but in v0.7.0 it will be buildable in one click. :D

Here's a goods station I have been working on. The first screenshot shows the station as built, for those who want a 'one-click-build' station:

And here's how it looks after a few additions, for those who like some more eye-candy... ;)

I have to say that personally, I don't like that set up but then again, I would probably always build the station myself so that is irrelevant. It's all looking rather spiffingly fantastic :D
