The colours look grand, I dont think anymore shading would help, they look good enough to pass. Is there going to be a tangara in the set, or will the D4 be used in its place?
[WIP] QLD Sugar Cane Set [WIP] Another Aussie project... CanAm - This ride is unsuitable for pregnant women, children under the age of 16 and whimps.
The next train departing platform 3 is the 2:34 Craigieburn stopping all stations to Craigieburn except Flagstaff. Remember to validate your metcard before you travel.

Look at the pictures on the previous page... This should be the CityRail Set with G and T Sets (different colour [red, blue] of plates how you can see on the detail below ). The 4D is just a bonus train

That's just too much detail Hod!! They look great. Willl they be in the same set as all the others? Also, where did you get the bus in the right of the s/shot?

I was about to ask the same question. Any news on a release date yet. We will probably need a Sydney Scenario for this to work on.

You probably mean these two... Ikarus 280 and Karosa Citybus 12M or this...
And my answer is nowhere...They are not released yet (i'm planning to release them in DPP Set 5.0, but it's a secret... )

That's right! What area could be OK? Just "central" Sydney (rectangle between Bondi-Manly-Ryde-Strathfield) or "greater" Sydney (Bate Bay-Narrabeen-Blacktown) or almost a half of NSW (Wollongong-Newcastle-Blue Mtns.) ?
I tried to create the scenario from SRTM data, but i don't know if the CBD is not small. Ignore the snow!!!

I suppose we won't be seeing the train from my avatar for a while in here, though. It's the new PPP (Public Private Partnership) train in development for cityrail. It's expected to start replacing all the L, R, S sets currently in service by about mid 2010. At least that's what I last heard. Looks like it will be the 'A' set from the few images at the Reliance Rail website.

I hope they are more reliable than the current M Set's and OSCARs!
The set is coming together nicely, I agree...

The M-Sets are the most reliable trains on the CityRail network

They were hopeless in the early days though. I haven't heard any major issues with them lately, but when they were first released, they had problems left, right and centre.
It's good that they've been fixed up. And it looks like they new train are based around the M set /H set design.
